Fading Sun

Wilted or in bloom,
taking or lending daylight,
the world transitions.”

Author: Richelle E. Goodrich

Once in a vibrant garden teeming with life, there stood a sunflower unlike any other. Its once golden petals, now weathered and drooping, whispered a tale of resilience and grace amid adversity.

Amidst the lush greenery, this wilted sunflower stood as a symbol of beauty transcending perfection. Its bowed head held a unique allure, drawing in creatures seeking solace in its delicate imperfection. Birds perched upon its sturdy stem, singing melodies of hope as they found refuge in its embrace.

As the seasons changed, the sunflower stood resolute, its withered appearance telling a story of endurance. Its seeds, though weathered and weary, held the promise of new beginnings, patiently awaiting the gentle kiss of spring to sow the seeds of renewal.

Through the cycle of life, this wilted sunflower became a muse for artists, a haven for creatures, and a testament to the unwavering beauty found within the ebb and flow of existence—a beauty not confined by youth or flawlessness, but rooted in the resilience of the human spirit.

Tulips Last Dance

“Flowers whisper ‘Beauty!’ to the world, even as they fade, wilt, fall.”

Dr. Sunwolf

Tulips are my favorite flower. They are simple and elegant. These beauties were a gift from my daughter and her family for my birthday. Today, as I looked at their falling petals, I could not help but notice they were still fabulous.

I encourage you to look for the beauty in the world around you. It can be found in so many things. Even in the wilting flowers.

Parrot Tulips

“Here tulips bloom as they are told; Unkempt about those hedges blows an English unofficial rose.” —Rupert Brooke

Parrot tulips get their name from their vibrant colors and shape, as the petals resemble the feathers on a parrot.

Tulips are known to mean perfect and deep love. A classic flower, the tulip has been prevalent for centuries. They make a perfect gift to show unconditional love.
